Communion of Saints Inspired by St. Therese

This book will be available in January 2012 on this website and on Amazon.com

About the Book:

A mystical achievement as St. Therese brings her continuing story of a soul's journey to the pages of this book in an extraordinary adventure. Anne Urne travels the world with her cousin and describes the wondrous presence and help of the saints who come to her aid. You will marvel at the spiritual messages conveyed to her as she communes with the saints and learns that just as St. Therese always believed, heaven can be found on earth and there can be communion with the saints. A truly inspiring message that only the saints could bring and a tribute to the devotion and hard work of dedicated nuns who are responsible for bringing us the greatest spiritual classics.

Guess who came to dinner?

Communion of Saints is racing to a momentus conclusion as more saints and other surprising souls join in the wondrous story. Sister Agnes a/k/a Mother Agnes a/k/a Pauline Martin has arrived! OMG! This is stupendous! For those not familiar with my patron and spiritual guide, St. Therese of Lisieux, let me introduce you to her sister. Pauline Martin became a second mother to Therese Martin, then four years old, when their mother died. Pauline later joined the Carmel convent and took the name Sister Agnes. When Therese joined the convent, Sister Agnes became prioress and Mother Agnes to the sisters of Carmel, including her very own sister, Therese of Lisieux.
Sister Agnes is the one who edited and published the first autobiography of St. Therese, Story of a Soul. She single-handedly brought the beautiful story of this mystic saint to the attention of millions of readers and this book, now distributed in the original text, is still read by millions of spiritual seekers and devotees of St. Therese over a hundred years later.
Welcome, Sister Agnes, I know you are here to continue the story of St. Therese! This is so exciting!

The Book Inspired by St. Therese Coming Soon

Communion of Saints is scheduled to be released early in 2012 and will be premiered at this author's table at the IWPA Tent at the Printers Row Literary Fest in Chicago next June. I am so excited about this book. I have invited the saints to bring their stories to this effort and so far the book includes St. Therese of Lisieux, my patron and spiritual mentor; Mary Magdalene, St. Peter, St. James, St. Jude, St. Francis, St. Angela, St. Francis and St. Michael. My most interesting addition to date is the Irish Saint Brandon the Navigator. I learned that he is the patron saint of sailors, mariners and travelers. This is a wonderful saint for this book as it is told that he voyaged all the way to the place of the saints - Paradise!

This book includes exciting adventures and photos taken by Anne Urne on her visits to the basilica, crypt and grotto of Mary Magdalene in southern France and other adventures that are breathtakingly exciting. Thanks to the saints, a priest that joined them and the steadfast faith that all would turn out well, Anne and her traveling companions made it through the hair raising travels abroad. Welcome St. Brandon!

Sanctus - Great New Novel

Unable to put this book down - and excited that it alludes to a MISSING SISTER . . . . the author doesn't know where the story came from - but was staying in the south of France when he was inspired.  Well, I know -- and my book, Trust Me, contains the secrets that DaVinci Code and the exciting new novel Sanctus only allude to . . .

Chisholm Trail Book Festival in Duncan, OK

A wonderful day spent meeting new authors, shoppers and the wonderful organizers and planners of the event.  A great way to sell books and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow writers.  This event was the most well planned and carefully orchestrated book show I have attended.  Courteous staff attended to every detail and the show was a big hit.  I plan to return next year.  It was nice to meet Marilyn Hudson creator of Oklahoma Authors Website and big thanks to Glenna Pace of the Book Festival!  And, of course, thank you to all of the shoppers who made the show a success!

Spiritual Quest for Truth

I am attending the Chisholm Trail Book Festival in Duncan, Oklahoma on September 17, 2011 where I will launch my latest publication, A Spiritual Trilogy.  I will be signing Trilogy and Trust Me, the Untold Story of Mary Magdalene.  I look forward to meeting lots of new people and sharing stories about my books.
Thank heavens for the saints for I believe they are around to help when we ask them.

I found St. Therese in her book, Story of a Soul. She had always been with me and I hadn’t known until I recognized her in the pages of her book. It was while reading this book that I came across her dying days that told how the pen she used to write with became too heavy.  She finished her last words writing with a pencil! Oh, yes, I recognized her then!

I am very familiar with that pencil St. Therese wields.  She was the one who wrote on my tablet so many years ago:   LOUSY WORLD BETTER LOVE NOW.

In my continuous search for spiritual knowledge I discovered the Christian mystics. I knew I had struck gold when I discovered St. Teresa of Avila, St. John of the Cross and St. Therese of Lisieux. Mysticism was the terminology applied to the practice of these saints and I recognized it immediately.  I was not alone in my spiritual quest for truth.
